Hi,
I have several issues with the network connectivity for my Toshiba Satellite
p200 laptop:
1) My Realtek 8101 drivers that I downloaded from their site do not seem to
work with the device identified by Solaris as pci10ec,8136 or pciex10ec,8136. I
get a message on startup that RTLS does not support this device but then it
binds successfully. However I can only ping 127.0.0.1 and the local address but
nothing on the local area network, not even the router.
2) I decided to attempt to install the wireless drivers from opensolaris.org
and the drivers installed successfully but failed to attach. The device is
Intel Wifi link 4965AGN, identified in prtconf as pci8086,1101. I tried to
manually attach the driver to ath, but that too failed.
Any ideas about where I can get drivers really quickly would be welcome.
Regards
Nice
