Hi there, I recently downloaded and run frkit so I could get the Gnome battery applet.
My laptop is a little backwards. In what they call battery 0, is a laptop floppy drive. If you remove the floppy drive you can add a battery to the system. The vendor supplied battery goes into battery 1. batstat shows the status of both batteries via the command line. Battery 0 shows as not present. Battery 1 shows the correct charging percentage. The problem is that the glade gui applet shows only the percentage for battery 0 and not for battery 1. If I remove the floppy drive and move the battery to that bay then the application is happy and does show the correct color.png for the battery. Is there any way to have the applet show battery 1, or even better would be to show both batteries separately? thanks, alan This message posted from opensolaris.org
