Hi,
I was having problems trying to set my X resolution to the native 1280x800,
I added the modeline and edited xorg.conf etc. and I kept hitting a "1280x800
no mode of this name" error.
I googled around and it appears that the 1280x800 resolution mode is not
present in certain BIOS's (this is an Acer Aspire 5630).
The Linux people have created a little utility to "tweak" the BIO params, does
anyone know if such a tool exists on Solaris or if there is another work around?
Has anyone else experienced this?
