I have a 4306 in a laptop with celeron and ndis-1.1 works fine. The 4312 in the other laptop with Turion 64 x2 doesn't work. I've tried all the 32-bit drivers from HP. If i compiled it in amd64, got section relocation failed when trying to generate ndis.h. If i compiled it in i386, compiled fine but got no 32-bit kernel when tried to add_drv. If i compiled the 64-bit drivers from HP, it reboot when add_drv and after restart, not able to plumb bcmndis0. Any idea???
btw, the ndis in the celeron laptop got a lot of link up, link down messages in a console windows and the connection got dropped every now and then. I have to unplumb and then replumb it to get it reconnect. I am using the ibss mode btw. This message posted from opensolaris.org
