Hi Andrew,

I guess your nwam is enabled, so your wificonfig will have no effect.

# svcs -a | grep physical
---> if nwam is enabled, but you want to use wificonfig, type:
# svcadm disable physical:nwam
# svcadm enable physical:default

Now, you can use wificonfig, ;-)
