Hi all... I have a Nortel Emobility card (pcmcia) that works in linux using the orinoco drivers. I'm curious to see if it works with the new pcwl driver. But evidently there is no data in /etc/dirver_aliases for it...
prtconf -v shows this: Phys hi=0x21000000, Phys lo=0x0, Phys len=10 Interrupt Specifications: Interrupt Priority=0x6 (ipl 6) network (driver not attached) Hardware properties: name='device_type' type=string items=1 value='network' name='model' type=string items=1 value='Nortel Networks,emobility 802.11 Wireless LAN PC Card,1.00,' name='socket' type=int items=1 value=00000000 name='compatible' type=string items=4 value='pccard,Nortel_Networks,emobility_802.11_Wireless_LAN_PC_Card,1.00,' + 'pccard1eb,80a' + 'pccard,network' + 'network' Register Specifications: Phys hi=0x24000000, Phys lo=0x0, Phys len=0 Phys hi=0x24000000, Phys lo=0x0, Phys len=400 Phys hi=0x21000000, Phys lo=0x0, Phys len=47 Interrupt Specifications: Interrupt Priority=0x0 (ipl 0) pci1050,1050 (driver not attached) Hardware properties: name='assigned-addresses' type=int items=10 value=82007010.00000000.e0005000.00000000.00001000.82007014.00000000.e0004000.00000000.00001000 name='reg' type=int items=15 value=00007000.00000000.00000000.00000000.00000000.02007010.00000000.00000000.00000000.00001000.02007014.00000000.00000000.00000000.00001000 Based on the above, or if needed, the whole output of prtconf -v, can someone tell me what needs to be added to /etc/driver_aliases? Thanks in advance! This message posted from opensolaris.org
