Hi, Im trying to play abit with the Linksys cardbus wifi card I have got. My card was plumbed ok and I have tried to remove the cardbus from the laptop. Got the following messages:
Dec 2 11:06:48 nereid cardbus: [ID 307021 kern.notice] NOTICE: Device [0x0] function [0] is busy Dec 2 11:06:48 nereid cardbus: [ID 564440 kern.notice] NOTICE: cardbus_unconfigure_node: cardbus_unconfigure failed Dec 2 11:06:48 nereid cardbus: [ID 435575 kern.warning] WARNING: cardbus_unload_cardbus: cardbus_unconfigure_node failed Dec 2 11:06:48 nereid cardbus: [ID 527677 kern.warning] WARNING: cardbus(pciclass,0607000): Failed to remove device tree: Slot disabled Then I tried to insert back the card. The ath0 was plumbed so I had to unplumb the card and try again. Got however an I/O error: # ifconfig -a lo0: flags=2001000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,VIRTUAL> mtu 8232 index 1 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000 iprb0: flags=1004843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,DHCP,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2 inet 172.21.175.35 netmask fffffe00 broadcast 172.21.175.255 ether 0:d0:59:cb:e:92 ath0: flags=1000842<BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 3 inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0 ether 0:12:17:78:f2:de # ifconfig ath0 unplumb # # ifconfig -a lo0: flags=2001000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,VIRTUAL> mtu 8232 index 1 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000 iprb0: flags=1004843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,DHCP,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2 inet 172.21.175.35 netmask fffffe00 broadcast 172.21.175.255 ether 0:d0:59:cb:e:92 # # # # # ifconfig ath0 plumb ifconfig: plumb: ath0: I/O error So any ideas if this is supported under snv_b27a ?
