Any luck with this yet? I'm having a similar problem. However, the device comes up okay, and snooping works. If I specify an IP address, I can ping in and out of the interface, but when I enable dhcp it refuses to grab an IP (with nwam). I have an e1000g adapter on the same system (via PCI though) which works fine. After I statically set an IP, none of my services (such as ssh) work even after I restart it.
