1.) NVIDIA (If you want to run ANY 3D stuff, or movies, you can't do
much with ATI or Intel)
2.) Intel Wireless 3945 (4965 should be supported, don't quote me, check
the iwl driver on the wlan page for opensolaris)
3.) WWAN is not supported. There's a remote possibility that Sprint
branded Novatel will be the first, they work best out of all cards with
Macs and non-Windows systems. Sprint has no download cap, Verizon is
5GB/mo, and Cingular HDSPA is spotty at best for coverage (Capped at
30GB/mo unofficially). Just don't buy any WWAN, it does not work with
OpenSolaris in almost all cases. ExpressCard WWAN adapters use USB
bridging and USB serial to operate, even though they go through a
pci-express bus and alien hardware slots. ExpressCard replaces cardbus,
and it already has WWAN adapters and SATA controllers. There's a
cardbus adapter for ExpressCard also.

Card readers vary, it might seem simple, but that's a misnomer with
combo devices. SD cards should work fine, but other non-USB removable
media is not supported. This will change soon, they're already
incorporating better laptop support for card readers. USB-based ones
are best supported.

Unless it's a Core/Core2-based chip, it does not support Intel VT.

Xen does not support Windows yet if that's where you're going.
