Not to mention project focus, more money and guidelines, longer track  
record, internal employees working on the project, and millions upon  
millions of lines of code worth over 100 years of man hours under a  
license that's not as extreme on needs.  I personally like how strict  
the Sun compilers are.  Java is also a better citizen, with Netbeans  
for instance loading twice as fast on OpenSolaris than it did on  
either Linux or Windows.  I'm also a nostalgic nut when it comes to  
the old tried and true UNIX vendors, I still own an SGI system with  
IRIX for example.  Looks like you need to update to ON 75 (Or better)  
to get that working, the device ID isn't present in 70b, I checked on  
my SXDE 09/07 install on my VMware machine.  (VMware uses e1000g  
under 64-bit mode for Solaris and it works)
