Hi Alexander, Could you try adding gani0 to the /etc/inetmenu/EHTERNET-INTERFACES file, as these are the ones that inetmenu will try to use, then you won't have to specify it manually.
I suspect that the second problem may be that you have not set up RBAC for the user you are running as. Try running inetmenu as root. If that works, you just need to set up RBAC.
