well, I have an Acer Travelmate 5520 with ATI Radeon graphics. It works perfect under Solaris snv_110 (SXCE) and it has the right power with AMD 64Bit DualCore and up to 4Gb Ram. Plus: it was the best price offer at the time I bought it. Acer is still #1 for me. On the negative side: wifi support, once disabled and Windows erased you will never be able to switch it on again. no support for all those special keys. I hope Acer will be more in the focus of Sun as a laptop partner in future (Toshiba is not bad, but a little bit more variety could make sense) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
