Yes, my T61 with integrated video works well- i use external 22'' Acer monitor 
through VGA connector...
Only one problem is here: if laptop was booted before ext. connection,  Xorg 
was not able to detect external video output. But my T60 did this - looks like 
problem at BIOS level...
