works perfectly on my Asus W5A... thank you! :-) I've one additional feature request: to inform the user about the current profile when the user press the power4gear key. Ideally it could be handled by pre-selecting the current state. Opnionally, a single label saying the current state is enough. Let'me say that I had already opened an issue[1] at bugzilla to improve the acpi-support, taking care of: a) enabling/disabling the touchpad via Fn+F9 b) switching between LCD/CRT/LCD+CRT video modes via Fn+F8 [1] http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19493 /me waiting for a good ubuntu developer soul to include these improvements in the next acpi-support package version... ;-) HTH, -- Dorneles Treméa X3ng Web Technology -- laptop-testing-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/laptop-testing-team
