Just switch down "PC-Speaker"

I’ve just got a ThinkPad X41 Tablet, and I can’t find where I can change
the volume setting for the beeper. On my previous laptop, ThinkPad R31,
the beeper was much ‘closer’ in volume to the rest of the sounds (and
I could balance them by various ‘Master’ vs. ‘PCM’ settings).
Where can I change the relative volume
of beeper vs. the rest of the system?
