I'm confused; what do you mean by "shipped hibernate code"? I installed the hibernate package and slightly modified /etc/hibernate/hibernate.conf. Isn't this the right way? Here's the relevant part of my /etc/hibernate/hibernate.conf: --- UseSysfsPowerState disk PowerDownMethod shutdown Verbosity 2 LogFile /var/log/hibernate.log LogVerbosity 2 Distribution debian # (or fedora/gentoo/mandrake/redhat/slackware/suse) SaveClock restore-only ChangeGrubMenu yes GrubMenuFile /boot/grub/menu.lst BackupGrubMenuFile /boot/grub/menu.lst.hibernate.bak IbmAcpi yes LockXScreenSaver yes UnloadBlacklistedModules yes LoadModules auto DownInterfaces lan wlan wlan-ext RestartServices postfix SwitchToTextMode yes OnSuspend 20 echo -n disable > /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth --- Stefan -- laptop-testing-team mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/laptop-testing-team
