It looks like there's some good news for the Tecra users out there. As of this week, we've got some more functionality to play with:
- We can now suspend and wake up without a hitch. - We can now hibernate and return to usable state, but the sky2 ethernet device isn't functional when brought up. However, we do return to a usable state rather than hang. Remaining serious issues: - Wireless continues to be unusable via ipw2200's firmware and TX_POWER errors. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/27778 - As mentioned, the wired ethernet isn't restore after a hibernation. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/50004 Remaining minor issues: - Hotkeys remain elusive. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/hotkey-setup/+bug/20727 - No dimming of screen when switching to battery power. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/64865 - No card reader support (lack of a driver). https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/20964 -- laptop-testing-team mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/laptop-testing-team
