If you'd like to have a say in who serves on the next Scheme Language Steering Committee, then you'll need to register by Sunday, 1 February [1].
That is also the deadline for nominating candidates for the committee [2]. Six candidates have already been nominated and have indicated their willingness to serve if elected [3]. All six who have been nominated so far are worthy, but the general direction of efforts to standardize and to improve Scheme will depend upon which three candidates are elected to serve on that committee.
