Check with "ps ax" if you have samba daemon running. Look for smbd and nmbd 
servers.

Im not sure what this services for, so I disbale it. Im using unix FreeBSD 
4.5-STABLE ,AFAIK this services is Microsoft prorietary so anyone can 
explain what this services for in unix environment or is there any remote 
exploit on it?
