Just to follow up on this, someone did open a bugzilla on this:yes, i know, i don't have intentions on using shapping on that router, was just an observation that redhat put the htb in kernel, but, didn't put an update to iproute2 allready patched. They did a half work :((

If you use Red Hat and want them to provide a HTB-enabled tc, register a bugzilla account and add yourself to the cc list on this bug.
