I am having the same compile errors.  I building 
iproute2-2.4.7-now-ss020116-try.tar.gz and have tried EVERY patch I could find.  I am 
cross compiling this for a 2.6.3 kernel and uclibc based system, so I can't just use 
some pre-compiled executable.
 
Does anyone know the solution for this?
