EuroNanoForum 2003 is organised by
the European Commission - DG Research and the Italian Presidency of the
European Union
NANOTECHNOLOGY: WHICH DECISIONS SHOULD EUROPE TAKE IN NEXT YEARS TO SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT, REVITALIZE ECONOMY AND HELP CITIZENS ?
EURONANOFORUM 2003 will make the point on "where we are" and which are the major bottlenecks to progress in nanotechnology and its applications: research, infrastructures, innovation, education, financing, societal aspects... The presentations, discussions and conclusions will provide valuable inputs to design forthcoming initiatives, in particular at Community level, and for launching new international co-operation actions involving e.g. EU, USA, Japan, Russia and other interested Countries. Nobel laureates, top-level scientists, sociologists, managers and stakeholders will discuss integrated approaches to overcome barriers and profit of the great potential offered by nanotechnology.
