Script authored by Joseph Silverman, reviewed (ahem!) and committed
by Ben Shine.
This is a checkin of a little script that inserts a snippet of
html into every page of the reference manual saying that the
reference manual is in progress, and providing a link to the
"recommended" reference manual.
Note that I am not endorsing this particular approach to
modifying the doc files, but given the parameters and
constraints (get it done real fast and never do it again)
a bash/awk solution is acceptable. There are dozens of
other ways it could have been done, but this was the one
we did, and it is grossly inelegant, and I know.
