The ExternalInterface works just fine for me under Mac OS X, as does
LocalConnection. The IE for Mac thing happened some time ago, and was no
surprise. Quite frankly, good riddance; the JavaScript support for IE for
Mac was awful, even though the CSS/HTML support was actually quite good.
This move should have no impact to the Mac audience, since Safari, Firefox,
and Opera all work just fine for the Mac.

Fair point .. I don't now have a Mac to test this ..
but why, then, does this Macromedia Flash note on localconnection refer to
Macintosh source files for localconnection ... ?
