Max, thanks for presenting the kernel API (http://wiki.openlaszlo.org/KernelAPIProposal) at the offsite yesterday. One thing that seemed like it was missing (in retrospect) was a kernel object to represent the canvas. That's usually different from a regular view, huh?
Also, in SWF at least, the global object needs to be defined as _root. In DHTML, I suppose you'd want to say global = this outside the context of any function. Where in the kernel would that go?
