Searching for unresolved bugs with "data request queuing" reveals these likely candidates:

LPP-354 - repeated query args in data request are eliminated
LPP-437 - data loading can hang forever in SOLO requests

I think there's a bug for this someplace. I'm about to do some experiments to see what happens in DHTML
when multiple requests are bunched up to XMLHTTPRequest. I think I tried it at one point and found that firefox did
some sort of queuing automaticallly, and IE did something bogus, but I need to go back and run that experiment again.

Do we have a bug on this?  Don't we _have_ to have queueing --
otherwise the browser will just abort an in-progress request when a
second request arrives?
