Certainly, and only time will tell. I suspect in this case that BD will win, 
but there are arguments for both (and neither). This isn't the place for that 
discussion.

A definite yes, BUT, given its J2ME nature, it is reasonable to say that going 
that direction first will yield a _ton_ of devices upon which the OL runtimes 
will be able to produce useful output. I suspect that a large minority of the 
phones on the market worldwide are java capable. Read the article, they have 
numbers in the billions of units. Then top that with what could be an 
entertainment leader (Blu-Ray) in a few years. It seems to me to be a no 
brainer. Even still, the hd-dvd runtime might also be a reasonable next 
target.
