Here are benchmark results for the viewperf suite on my current build
on my intel mac mini and parallels running on the same machine. This
is the output of the performance analysis tool. Lower numbers are
better; there is no absolute unit. These are processed numbers which
are the result of measurements AND calculation. For the next week or
so, my mini is the benchmark machine, until I build the scripts to
invoke these on the build machines.

The numbers seem to correspond to our sense of performance in the
platforms tested, since
[fastest] mac swf8 < mac swf7 < mac firefox < windows swf8 (in
Parallels) < windows swf7 (in Parallels) < Safari < IE 6 (in
Parallels) [slowest]
Coming soon... a checkin with the performance logger and analyzer,
instructions on how to roll your own.
