Are you sure you patched the index.jsp? It should load the welcome
screen initially instead of a blank frame. For me it shows before the
nav loads in Safari even after I clear the cache. FWIW, I'm loading
this URL to kickstart the process:

Can you explain your logic on the change you made to always call
this.doaction in the click handler? I don't really understand what the
