ooops!

From the release notes for OL4B1:

Rich Text Editor

The Rich Text Editor, a SWF extension, has not been tested for SWF and its future is uncertain. As an "incubator" component, it may be discontinued without a formal deprecation. It will not ever work in DHTML. If you want a rich text editor and are using the DHTML runtime, we suggest embedding an existing DHTML text editor such as TinyMCE tinymce.moxiecode.com

Per the line below from the release notes, I understand that the RTE will not be part of OL going forward. I assume that means the <richinputtext> component is not supported.

Can I assume that the baserichedittext and scrollrichedit text classes are also not supported?

Finally, is there any reason to keep the chapter on Rich Text in the Developer's Guide?

Thanks,
