I am going to set maxOpen to 10 for now, because there is definitely a screw case for it being set at 2, and I haven't been able to produce errors with it set to 10, and this will increase the performance noticably.

Yeah. For now, I'm just trying to find a setting for the maxOpen limit which doesn't generate errors in our supported browsers, using large but not unreasonable sized test case.
