Ben, are sure that every JIRA-user has got access to the
"Edit"-function? I don't think so, I guess you need to be at least in
the group "jira-developers" or anything similar to this one to be able
to edit a issue.

In Jira, edit the bug (in the Operations menu) and in the "Affects
Version/s" field, select 4.0.6 in addition to 3.3.3.

Good question! The text object is part of the LFC -- "Laszlo
Foundation Classes" and is thus defined in script, not lzx files:
$LPS_HOME/WEB-INF/lps/lfc/views/LzText.lzs
with platform-specific kernel implementations in
$LPS_HOME/WEB-INF/lps/lfc/kernel/swf/LzTextSprite.as
and
$LPS_HOME/WEB-INF/lps/lfc/kernel/dhtml/LzTextSprite.js
