Henry reports we're at a fine point for our SWF9 release.
r8484 is it! Mamye, please start the release process
and final test for this version in trunk.
I don't know much about the release process, but I suggest we
all stay out of trunk until we hear from Mamye. Maybe she
can spin the release out of trunk directly if we don't mess with
it. Mamye, what makes sense? Spin a branch if that's what you
usually do.
Can you let us know when it's safe to continue in trunk?
I think this still applies:
to get the 'Documentation in progress, use 3.4 doc' tag on all the
reference docs, you need to run the 'injector' script to put
that in, at some point after the doc is built and before the
packaging is done. The script is in svn tools under
injector/injector.sh. I think this is how you run it on
a built tree:
$ ...../injector.sh $LPS_HOME/docs/release
This came up on a previous release, so I think you did this, Mamye.
If you need
any guidance, let me know.
The conversion script will be separate from the release for now,
though it will be committed somewhere soon. There's some extra
testing/tweaks that need to happen to it, and I suspect
it will be shaken out a lot from ghost over the next few days.
