the embed code does not get built by a top level build, you have to build in lps/includes/source. My experience has been that if I build that, and reload in my browser, I get the new embed compile. But, you're also right: ant is not make, it pretty much sucks about building non-java things.

I was trying to check a bug fix, and I did an ant build, and event an ant build inside of lps/includes/source, and cleared my browser cache but for some reason my browser was not getting the new embed-compressed.js, until I
actually touched the file iframemanager.js
to update it's last-modified date. Or maybe the new embed- compressed.js
wasn't actually getting built until I touched that file.

Just something to watch out for... maybe something is not working right in the ant script that computes "uptodate" for building the embed.js target.
