It's been a while, but last time I looked all these "comet" technologies didn't share the same heritage and while there are techniques in common, there were also differences.

FYI: When we looked at this early last year, there were some significant issues with the Tomcat implementation, which I hope/expect have been fixed since then.

Comet has been testedw with Coucho/Resin, Jetty, Tomcat and Glassfish, probably other servers as well:
