So, as hoped, Google has open-sourced vp8.  I think what will be _really_ 
interesting is if they will use this as a lever over Apple (and MS).  Will they 
drop H.264 from u-toob?  Or do they have so much excess disk and CPU that they 
can afford  to host all of u-toob in a _third_ encoding?
