Surely we should document the behavior of the default templates, OTOH, we're not conveying any information other than a source IP address. It's not like the 1-pixel tracking gif's in most email that everyone seems to not care about these days.
I think it is already pretty well documented that the default xslt templates are there for the convenience of the developer, not intended for production.
