That's interesting, but I still think it would be better to have the ability to use more of the JavaScript knowledge millions of people have, by being able to write an app completely in JavaScript. I've heard many people say that XML is not a best-practice any more, and they dislike the idea of using an XML based programming language.
Before investing time into integrating new language support into LZX methods, think about creating a 30 min video tutorial showing how you can create an OpenLaszlo app with data handling in plain JavaScript. I know, you keep telling people that it an be done, but if you don't show that in a good example - the world doesn't know.
