There is information about specific text editors in the dguide: Chapter 50. Editing. that is duplicated on the Wiki at http://wiki.openlaszlo.org/Editing_LZX. (Actually, "duplicated" is a bit strong, since the information is quite different.) All of this information is several years out of date.
I would suggest we strip the dguide chapter to the bare minimum, and point to the Wiki. At least with the Wiki, users can update the pages themselves. I would like to briefly mention the editors in the chapter overview and remove the top level sections on Eclipse, Intelij, and Emacs, and VIM. Comments? Of course, this does not address the original point of this thread: lzx.dtd is not available, so dtd aware editors are not of much use. <http://wiki.openlaszlo.org/Editing_LZX> On Mon, Feb 28, 2011 at 3:26 PM, Lou Iorio <[email protected]> wrote: > The Eclipse section in the same chapter has the same problem. > Also, I haven't used Eclipse in a while, but I think XMLBuddy is > obsolete.
