Sure I am willing to help out. I have been building OpenLaszlo from source a number of times and I think my build environment is still working. I can remember there is a handy script that will set up all your environment variables that are needed to build or to cd to the directories needed. It is in the "tools" package of the SVN and I think it is also mentioned in the build instructions in the wiki.
