The component still seems to work for swf8, but nobody has updated it
for swf10.

Both Flash and the HTML DOM have some notion of formatted text spans, but
I'm not sure how it will work to try to abstract them into a common LFC API.

It would be cool if it were possible to have something that allowed
someone to implement a cross-platform rich text editor, but I am thinking
we are going to need to have some platform-specific sets of APIs at least
to do this properly.
