Not at all! But it's a very broad one. The answer depends on the
implementation platform of the external component (Flash, HTML, JVM,
C, ...), and whether it runs inside of a browser window. It also
depends on the degree of integration, in two dimensions. One
dimension is the graphic design: is the component displayed on the
same page, or within the application area? The other is the
presentation logic and client model: to what extent do the OpenLaszlo
application and the component share data and control flow? (It's
trivial for them to share server data, so a third potential dimension
is flat.)
Of the two components you name, Dojo Editor is a DHTML component that
runs inside of a browser window, while GanttProject is a Java
application designed for desktop use. I don't know whether you can
run GanttProject.
Did you have any particular application in mind?
Best,
Oliver

How does one incorporate external components into an OpenLaszlo
application? Say, for example, GanttProject or the Dojo Editor.
Any examples or RTFM references are welcome.
