I think if you use JSPs with a proxied OpenLaszlo app and reference a library, it looks in the OpenLaszlo classpath by default and causes problems.  I had this happen when OpenLaszlo was using a beta JDOM jar and my JSP code needed the 1.0 JDOM jar.

Incidentally, I just looked and the HTTPClient 2.0rc1 is from 13 October 2003.  HTTPClient 3.0 Final was released 19 December 2005.  It would probably be a good idea to upgrade OpenLaszlo to the latest version unless there is some specific needed functionality that only exists in the 2.0 API, which I doubt is the case.

Subject: Re: [Laszlo-user] HttpClient upgrade to 3.x ??

Is the library jar file being shared between the openlaszlo server and other apps on your servlet container?

So, here is the question : Has anybody already begun on upgrading the lib?

I'd appreciate any form of response!

Best Regards,
