Hi all,
in Laszlo I have 2 class named, for example, cA and cB.
cA is defined with an internal dataset named "ds".
cA calls, via JavaScript, cB's method and have to pass the dataset's
reference, so cB can elaborate it (with an insert node, for example).

If I simple pass the dataset, all changes mades by cB are not affected
in dataset's cA.

The only solutions/workaround I found are:

SOLUTION 1
cB's method returns the dataset modified to cA.

SOLUTION 2
I define an attribute in cB:
<attribute name="fromDs" type="expression" when="once" />

so when I instanciate cB I pass the reference.

Solution 1 doesn't satisfied me, is too limited because sometimes I
would have need to pass more than one argument by ref.
Solution 2 limit me to pass the reference only when I instance cB and no
more.

I'd like to pass a reference when I want.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Bye,
Luca Ritossa
