For the Legals release we will be taking care to highlight any platform differences and point out where developers must be aware which runtime they're compiling for.
For example, certain audio APIs cannot be assumed to work in DHTML, and certain text features aren't supported in Flash. However, it has not been our plan, and it isn't our plan, to explain how to "drop down into flash" to do things. Actionscript is available in LZX applications to those who want it and are comfortable using it, and the OpenLaszlo documentation does mention this. However, the OpenLaszlo documentation itself is only concerned with LZX and the OpenLaszlo platform. For documentation of Actionscript functions you'll have to look elsewhere.
