Hi,
how can I define and call global variables in laszlo?
I'm planning to do something like this:
<dataset name="dset" src="http://IP_ADDRESS/HOME_DIR/FILE.php"
request="true" type="http"/>
This dataset returns something like <userinfo name="asd"></username>
<window ...>
<view ...>
<datapointer name="dsetptr" xpath="dset:/userinfo">
var user = this.getNodeAttribute('name');
Debug.write("Attribute: " + user);
return user;
</datapointer>
<videoview id="local" url="${user}" type="rtmp"/>
</view>
</window>
I just want to use the value in var 'user' as url for videoview...
Thank you for your time.
Take care.
