I don't see why not, as long as you can target WPF/E using
JScript.NET (or an open source alternative to compiler JavaScript to
CLR). The other pieces -- interactive graphics, network protocols,
XML handling -- are almost certainly available.
Note that's a technical answer, not a business answer. I don't know
where WPF support currently lies on the Laszlo Systems priority list,
and of course third parties are free to get involved if there's a
particular runtime they would really like to see happen.
