Having worked comfortably in the old OL 3.3.3 world I'm just starting to look at OL 4.0.2 (tentatively). Previously, I have mixed YUI components with OL 3.3.3 compiled swf (swf embedded in YUI divs in panel). So, as I understand, your wish is that OL 4+ DHTML will make added YUI components redundant? And yet .. OL 4.0.2 DHTML seem to lean heavily on dojo? See dojo references sprinkled throughout embed.js. Here is one comparison of dojo vs yui js libraries. http://toserveman.kalebwalton.com/articles/2007/01/19/ and another .. http://simonwillison.net/2007/Jan/20/fork/ dojo does not get five stars .. I'm just curious on the pros and cons. I think I'll stay with adding YUI .. for now. Works well for me. dl
