There's a Flash 8 API to convert a movieclip to a bitmap. This isn't supported
by the LZX language, but you can call the Flash APIs directly. To get the
movieclip corresponding to a view, you can use getMCRef() on the view
(or maybe it's on the view.sprite, I forget).

I haven't tried this, but it looks like the draw() method on the
flash.display.BitmapData object will render a movieclip into a bitmap
object.

You must compile your app as a swf8 app to use these features.
