LZX code written for 3.x is quite compatible with 4.x code.

I personally would not try to make LPS 4.x support compiling to swf6
though. I forget all the
things that we dropped, but you might be able to get an idea by
looking through the compiler and runtime
source code and looking for code which is conditionalized on the swf6
runtime. If there are a couple of particular 4.x features you really
want, they could probably be back-ported.
